6.00pm I am very pleased to be presenting this collection of paintings which I have been working on for the past 14 months. It is my fourth major exhibition and I smile when I recall as an eleven year old my dream of becoming an artist and painting from dawn till dusk. The passion and desire is as strong as ever, alas life does not permit such total indulgence. Living my life though has provided me with an abundance of experience  which I continue to see filtering into my work in all sorts of ways.  I continue to take great joy in painting that which exists around us while also developing the landscape of my mind where anything can happen and evolve as it pleases! As I become sharper in my observations and paint as I feel and what I need and want, I have started to arrive at a point where I am feeling much more authentic as an artist.

The ongoing painting process, delight in the absolute sensuality of colour, life mysteries, joyousness, loss, love and all that defines the human condition are what I try to convey in my work.
